The Amherst Early Music Festival welcomes the public free of charge to the Festival's Early Music and Instrument Exhibition. You'll see instruments for playing Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Music, including recorders, flutes, percussion, strings, and keyboards, as well as musical accessories, books, and modern and facsimile editions. Players, parents, and teachers are invited to try out historical instruments and talk to makers and vendors from the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
We welcome instrument makers, music shops, publishers, organizations, and others to exhibit at the Festival. The Music and Instrument Exhibition is held in a large centrally-located air-conditioned room with lots of natural light. Coffee and tea will be available.
The Festival is a hive of activity on the weekend, with over 400 students and faculty present. Past exhibitors tell us that Festival-goers are exactly the people they most want to meet – people who play instruments, sing, dance, and have an interest in early music. Exhibitors are also welcome to attend weekend events for free.
Register online by June 1 to reserve your spot, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
